BT is one of
the partners of the ERDF funded project The Media Vault,
a project that will provide the West Midlands Creative
Industries sector, in particular, screen based media
companies with:
a new media management
technology infrastructure known as a Digital Asset
Management (DAM) platform
improved SME access
to broadband connectivity
a networked media
acquisition and production facility
specialist connectivity
and technology advice.
Increasing
broadband connectivity will reduce the costs and barriers
to new markets for SMEs and act as a market facilitator
through the access to, and distribution of, new digital
media regionally, nationally and globally.
