AV
in Practice 8th July 2004 Chelsea Villiage, Stamford
Bridge, London On July
8th, Media Vault gave a presentation as part of AV Magazine’s
‘AV-In-Practice’ event
held at Chelsea Village, Stamford Bridge, London. The
event aimed to help users better understand different
media, and their applications, through a mix of case
studies and content ideass.
The scope of the event ranged from straightforward presentations
to satellite television, from retail applications to
video conferencing, and from interactive whiteboards
to IP networks.
Seminars and workshops were free to visitors, and were
supported by an exhibition featuring the latest A/V
technology. Media Vault participated in the ‘A/V
goes to college’ session. This focused on the
practicalities of using Media Vault’s A/V asset
management resources, combined with its digital media
creation and distribution activities.
The Media Vault presentation introduced the
tic, covering both who it works with and for,
and the relevant media with which it deals. It went
on to explore the technologies with which tic
is involved, and how it offers A/V asset management
and distribution within the scope of the media concerned.
It also covered how tic set up Media
Vault, how its systems are managed and controlled, and
how potential users could benefit from tic’s
knowledge and experience.
Emphasis was laid on the importance of the successful
development of Media Vault’s relationships with
enthusiastic clients and partners since these had enabled
the project to work so well.
